Well this morning is looking like a pretty awesome day with sunny skies and a good forecast for a nice sea breeze this arfertoon.
Iain and Kyle are on there way down from the lake and the boat is ready to go for this arfternoons Life Members Trophy race.
Once again we have been given a pretty tough handicap. However if we sail well I'm sure we can go much better then last week.
Race starts at 2:30!

- David O'Connor and Iain Jensen have been sailing together in the 49er Olympic class for three seasons.They have recently returned at the end of 2007, after competting in all the grade 1 regattas in Europe. They are now ranked 26th in the world after the 2008 worlds in Melbourne and have won many other regattas at both national and international level in 29ers, 420's and Match racing. Kyle is new to the team! However is not new to 18 Ft skiff sailing after crewing on the bow for Noakes he has had good experience of 18 Ft skiff racing and managment of an 18 ft skiff program. On top of this he has had some great achievements in match racing and laser sailing. The team are also great mates and are looking forward to taking on this challenge!
